is Ground Zero for the Southern California Blues scene? Case in point:
The 8th Annual Ventura County Blues Festival on April 27;  Blues Brews
& BBQ Festival, September 21; and the best Weekly VCBS-sponsored
Blues Jam to be found anywhere in the Southland, hosted by hard-working 
Tommy Marsh and Bad Dog  (this Wednesday, Feb. 20 featuring special guest, Ventura-based guitarist-vocalist, Shawn Jones) at The Tavern, 211 E. Santa Clara, Ventura (8 -11 p.m., free). Marsh and Company take the stage again two nights later, Friday, February 22, at The Village Jester, 139 E. Ojai Ave., Ojai (9 p.m.-till ?, free).
