With Father’s Day on the
horizon, there’s one Father-Daughter blues team out there that’s currently attracting a lot of attention on the national scene.
Singer Sena
Ehrhardt and her father, Ed Ehrhardt, lead guitarist in her fast-rising band, were interviewed recently on public television station KSMQ in Minnesota. They speak of their shared love of the blues, perform “Baby Valentine,” one of the songs they wrote together, and discuss creating and performing together. They also talk about their unusual but rewarding
on-stage/off-stage father-daughter relationship. When asked what it’s like to have her dad in the band, Sena sums it up well: “It’s just a blessing for me.”
