The full lineup for the 2012 Chicago Blues Festival has been released. The free festival is in Grant Park June 8 – 10. More information is available on the city’s Blues Festival website. We already told you some about the headliners. Texas Johnny Brown headlines Friday, plus performances by Joe Louis Walker, Eddie C. Campbell, Milton Hopkins and Jewel Brown earlier in the day. On Saturday, Floyd Taylor headlines, with performances by Billy Branch and the Sons and Blues, Rev. K M Williams, Paul Kaye, Steady Rollin Bob Margolin earlier in the day.
Mavis Staples closes out the festival Sunday, after performances from Eddie Shaw & The Wolf Gang, Mississippi Jam Session with Dexter Allen and an all-female tribute to Koko Taylor.
