I hope you, Charles's sister, are still alive and well, and know that I am still the proud owner of a beautiful hand made LoBue; solid 1 piece mahogany body and set neck, and ebony fret board. Well preserved, and is still the best to play I have ever had, among my Les Paul Custom, and various Fenders. His shop was just a few doors down from my bass players apartment on Thompson street. Those were the days! Charles was a gentleman, and tho I was barley 17 years old, treated me kindly, with respect, and labored to make me the best instrument I have ever played. Bless his soul.
